Festive London

Last Sunday, we spent the day out in central London and pretended we didn't have any work to do. We really wanted to see the Christmas lights on Oxford Street and also pay Carnaby Street a visit as they're very snazzy at this time of year and have such a festive atmosphere. Yes, yes it is November, but for us, the Christmas season begins as soon as the first autumn leaf falls so we're actually quite proud of ourselves for waiting this long. We got a few good pictures of the lights in the evening when it started to get darker, and there are also some random ones of bits and bobs ((ducks and squirrels lol)) in Hyde Park and around Carnaby. We found this really funky shop called Monki which we would definitely recommend as it has loads of nice stuff in it eg metallic tops and shiny festivy things. We are magpies to anything that has 1 spec of glitter on it.
We hope you like the pictures!

Fur and Stripes

WINTER IS HERE. The weather has got way colder all of a sudden and already all the Christmas lights are up around town, not to mention all the Christmas songs that are already being played in the shops. I can't decide if it's too early or exciting. Probably both.

Here are some pictures we took this weekend in Hyde Park. We hope you like them! x

Style - Breana McDow

HELLO.

We haven't really uploaded anything together recently as we've both been so busy with school and stuff but hopefully we'll be able to get something together this weekend. Meanwhile, I thought I'd do an inspiration post as we haven't done anything fashiony in ages. I decided to do it on Breana McDow, who's a model, who I discovered a while ago as she appeared in a couple of Arctic Monkeys videos and is now engaged to the drummer, Matt Helders. I most liked her fashion when she was acting in the music video, probably because she wore more black lol, like the delicate lace patterned top above. She seems to wear a lot of stripes and checks and in my opinion you can NEVER GO WRONG WITH A GOOD STRIPE. I thought her longer hair with the fringe was so nice but she's recently chopped it all into a pixie cut. Shame. Yet we will always have Alexa Chung for fringe inspiration.

Hope you have a good week!
